Chamber Ambassador Barry Fisher is the owner of Sweet T’s Venture, LLC, a business consulting company that works with startup businesses and existing businesses to help them grow. He also offers Legal Shield and ID Shield services to businesses and individuals.

“Legal Shield and ID Shield are my baby. I watch so many people go through different changes in their lives when they're dealing with unexpected personal issues and trying to handle them, while they're looking at a cost that's affecting them. Legal Shield gives them an option to handle things.”

How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?

I have been an Ambassador for one year.

What made you want to be a Chamber Ambassador?

I appreciate the opportunity to be out in the market, working with other businesses, and being there when new businesses start. I love doing ribbon cuttings because you get to meet everyone who's involved in the creation or growth of the companies we're cutting ribbons for. And you get to meet the individuals who have a vision for what's been created and for keeping it growing. Being an Ambassador gives me the opportunity to talk with the owners or co-owners and see how I can assist them.

What do you like most about being a Chamber Ambassador?

My favorite part is actually the camaraderie of the team. It's wonderful how we get together each month, and we sit down and talk about how the month went based on the luncheons, the ribbon cuttings, and then also just the interactions with being in front of those companies. And then also how we see the opportunity to be able to work with one another as ambassadors to be able to continue to grow to win. That's by far one of the best things each month that we get to sit down and do. I enjoy that every month.

Why do you think being a member of the Chamber is so important for businesses?

You know, the one thing that made me want to be part of the Chamber when I first started looking at it five years ago was just being present. One thing that most businesspeople want to see is someone being present, and they're going to be there. And when the Chamber team and the Ambassadors say they're going to do something, they do it.
