At the Flint & Genesee Chamber, we believe in fostering a thriving business community and building lasting connections. Our annual events provide members many opportunities for networking, learning, and celebrating their achievements.
Annual Meeting
When: March
The Flint & Genesee Group’s Annual Meeting reviews and celebrates the impact and accomplishments of the Group and its divisions, including the Chamber, from the previous year. It also includes a keynote speaker, a retrospective look at the local business climate and economy, and goals for the year ahead.
Golf Classic
When: First Friday in June
Join the Chamber the first Friday in June for a day of golf and fun at the Annual Golf Classic. Hosted at one of the area’s premier golf courses, Chamber members enjoy 18 holes of golf, lunch at the turn, business networking, a cocktail reception and awards program, and more.
Hot Dogs & Hot Rods
When: Mid-August, during the Annual Back to the Bricks Rolling Cruise
Join us for the largest Chamber membership networking event of the year! Hot Dogs & Hot Rods is the Flint & Genesee Chamber’s Annual Member Appreciation Cookout–our way of saying “thank you” to our members for all that you’re doing to move Flint & Genesee forward. Enjoy great food, free beer and wine, and music for dancing, all while watching the Back to the Bricks Rolling Cruise.
Art of Achievement Awards
When: Early November
Every year in November, the Flint & Genesee Group recognizes business leaders, community champions, and hospitality professionals who have achieved notable success and outstanding accomplishments in their respective fields of industry. Winners of these prestigious business and hospitality awards are selected from nominations gathered throughout the year.
The public is invited to nominate individuals and/or businesses for an award. Self-nominations are permitted.
